Day 5: Recommend a tear jerker
Well, I have several for you today. Various reasons, but they made me cry, tear up, get that dang sore throat that I can’t get rid of.
Told in 1st POV from the heroine’s side, this story is about the people who come into you lives and leave highlighted passages in your story. The Story Guy is the hero who advertises kisses only on Wednesday’s. From the heroine, you learn why this is and how she wants him to highlight the rest of her story together. It had me in tears, but also with hope of happiness for these two.
A Firm Hand by Fallon Blake is an S/M book, but both characters have baggage that is holding them down. When everything culminates into the climax, I was left with tears at the true emotional heart break I felt these two had to overcome.
OMG, the hero of this story took my heart and tore it to pieces. All the things he had to deal with just made my heart bleed. You just have to read it to understand.
Nalini Signh has gotten me in tears over two (well more actually) books. These two had me really thinking there would be no HEA. It ripped me up to see these men who have so much emotion and love, possibly not be able to handle it. The strong women who held them up never gave up. Oh, if you haven’t read this series, you should. While I don’t like every book in it, there are some stories that just ripped you up and then put you back together again so much better.
So what books made you cry? Or which ones left you in a snotty mess?
