The final serial installment cements Logan and Madison’s relationship through a fantasy. Madison finally confronts the side of herself that is submissive and Logan accepts her submission and will never let go. The conclusion is hard, but then waiting months between installments is harder.
In book two of the serial, Madison reveals a secret fantasy of being trained for a slave auction and being auctioned off to a soldier. There’s a lot more to the fantasy, but that is the basics. Now that Madison is starting to trust that she is submissive and the number 8 is actually lucky, she’s ready to see how her fantasy will be fulfilled.
I really wish we could see in Logan’s head through some of this story. He doesn’t hold back on what he is thinking and we know he loves Madison, but is like uber patient with her through it all. Also, it helps he can be a normal guy outside of the sexual dominance. Like having dinner with friends, going out dancing or just snuggling in bed. Through it all, he has been the rock of the story. Giving Madison what she needs, leading her when she falters, and just been the person she wants, needs and desires in her life.
Madison is starting to realize that this submission thing can work and that Logan might be the man she has always wanted. He sets up the elaborate fantasy scene for her, with one caveat that only he will touch her. This leads to how he can be everywhere at once, but man, it gets pulled off. This is the one scene that cements what they both want, need and will reveal to each other.
The scene is intense, elaborate, passionate, lustful, interesting, electrifying and had me wanting to grab my husband. All of it fantasy, but in the end it ends with reality of what these two are to each other.
While it is sad to say goodbye to these two, I am almost relieved I don’t have to wait another month for the next installment.
