Thank you to Delighted Reader for letting me stop by today. In my upcoming release, CLAIMED, we are introduced to the submissive, Presley Flynn. Today we’re going to get to know her a little better. Here we go!
1. What does your character look like?
Let’s take a look at Presley through the eyes of her Dom, Master Dmitri.
Brushing the darker blond locks that curled at the ends over her shoulder, she looked at him, and he discovered eyelids lowered in shame. He glanced down into such a pretty face; her gorgeous emerald eyes opened and stared back at him. Her pouty mouth invited him to take kisses and demand pleasure.
He scanned over her tanned shoulders and along her gentle curves beneath her pink tank top that detailed her round breasts. He smiled when he noticed puckered nipples through her top. Skittish, maybe, but he currently had her revved high. He liked how she didn’t hide her arousal. Her heated reactions showed on her face and in her breath, and that made for a lovely submissive.
2. How did Presley get into the BDSM lifestyle?
After she wasted eight years of her life on her ex-boyfriend, Presley’s life is in the dumps. Like most of us do, she reads sexy stories to escape. Her roommate, Cora, who took her in after the breakup with her ex-boyfriend, notices Presley reading a lot of BDSM novels. One conversation later and Presley soon finds out that Cora lives the BDSM lifestyle…and Presley’s life is about to be changed forever.
3. Why does Presley go to Club Sin?
Presley is nervous about joining Club Sin. Facing her fantasies isn’t something she expected to do, but she’s tired of being the woman who does everything right. She’s tired of always being the “good girl”, since that has gotten her nothing but dealing with a broken heart. She wants to be brave and bold. She wants to do things she never imagined doing before, and she wants to be the type of woman who goes after her fantasies.
4. Where is your Presley from?
Presley grew up in Apple Valley with her family. She moved to Vegas for her high school sweetheart. A douchebag of a man who made her promises of marriage, but didn’t deliver. Now that she’s made a home for herself in Vegas, she can’t imagine living anywhere else. Vegas has become her home, no matter that she is no longer with her ex-boyfriend.
5. What kind of childhood did she have?
Presley was raised by loving parents. She has a close relationship with them and she has no complaints. While her family would freak out if they heard that she joined a BDSM dungeon, they also are important to her. Family, friends, and love are things that matter to Presley.
6. What does Presley do for a living?
She’s a dental hygienist. It’s a job that she loves and it fulfills her. I’m not sure I could ever do such a job. Cleaning people’s teeth would likely make me cringe. There would be nothing worse than having your teeth cleaned by someone who looks like they’re about to be sick, right?
7. How does Presley deal with conflict and change?
Presley is a people pleaser. I’m sure many of you have met someone like Presley. In fact, I based some of Presley’s character off my best friend. That’s a little fun fact. So, when dealing with conflict and change Presley tends to worry about others before herself. As we all know, people pleasers can please too much and get hurt in the process, but from experience, I know that people pleasers tend to be very loving and caring. And that is exactly who Presley is, she has a big heart.
8. What happens to Presley through her experience at Club Sin?
Presley goes through an emotional journey throughout the story. She starts off as a nervous, people pleaser and ends up stronger through Master Dmitri’s touch. That is really the center of the story–it’s showing the emotional growth of a character through the exciting world of BDSM.
9. What is it about Master Dmitri that appeals to Presley?
Well, of course he’s HOT, so that’s just a given. I think what draws Presley to Dmitri is his personality. As her Dom, he is attentive, and she’s not used to that. He cares how she feels and what she is thinking. He pays attention to her responses and ensures that she’s happy. So, yes, while his looks play on her attraction to him, it’s the man himself that captivates her. Master Dmitri is a solid guy. He is caring of those around him, and what’s not to love about that?!
10. Can share one of your favorite Presley excerpts?
This scene is one of my favorites from Presley, because it’s so typical of her. She’s uneasy about being in CLUB SIN, as I’m sure many of us would be. While she’s brave enough to step into a BDSM dungeon, she’s still unsure about it all. That’s what I loved about Presley, she’s real. Sure, she wants to fulfill her fantasies, but it’s new to her and she reacts in an honest way.
Master Miles held a flogger in his hand, swaying it back and forth before he sent those leather tails onto the woman’s sex, removing two of the clothespins with the hit. A shriek followed, loud enough to make Presley flinch and turn away. A hot flash soared across her so fast that her head spun and her stomach became woozy.
What was she doing here?
She was a sweet girl from Apple Valley who didn’t do kinky things, and she didn’t belong in a BDSM dungeon. These people were all so experienced and confident, seemingly enjoying watching Master Miles make that poor woman scream. Presley didn’t want to scream out in pain or have clothespins ripped from her body.
Oh God . . .
Reading about BDSM and imagining it were nothing like the reality. Every station was in use, screams blending with loud erotic moans, and a sudden coldness hit her core.
Flogging, spanking, oral sex . . . and fucking; people were fucking in front of her. Sweat dripped down her spine, and her insides clenched with a need to vomit. Arousal and intrigue had led her there, but her blood turned to ice. “I can’t do this,” she snapped to herself.
Thank you for spending the time with me and getting to know Presley. She’s a very sweet girl who has a naughty side. She’s real and loving, and I enjoyed every second I spent with her. I hope you do, too!
