Her Loving Husband's Curse by Merdith Allard

As we begin, so we continue or some reasonably close facsimile of that old aphorism. We got off to a good start with the idea (read that as gimmick) to work on my hellaciously high TBR pile, but now we need to keep the ball rolling.

Each month, I will post up a pair (or more) of books. I would like you to vote on a choice. Yes! You will have the job of telling me what to read from my pile each month. I welcome your vote no matter what reason you chose (frivolous, serious or otherwise) that particular book and do share your reason just because I’m nosy. I will update everyone at the end of the month in my reading update and will of course share my thoughts on the book itself in my review.

So here we go…up for vote to be read in November a few Contemporary Romances because as we approach Thanksgiving, football and small town romance was the best I could think of for a match to the season.

We have:

I went with Foolish Games. I like the premise of the story (even though I’m not a fan of baby secrets).

Why J Burton change the cover? I like the one with the dog on it 😉

I think Foolish Games sounds awesome!!! If the story is done well I can handle baby secrecy but its hard sometimes to find a good one. But I wouldn’t mind giving this one a shot!!

Thanks Renee! Glad to have your vote. You’re right. There are a few reasons that make the baby secrecy thing work. I read one where the dad was dangerous and I would have hid my baby too.
I thought they both sounded good so I’ll be happy to read either I think.

Oh oh! How to pick! I had a good time with that Jaci one but I enjoyed the one I read from Tracy too (one later in that series). Have you read the other’s in Jaci’s series? I can’t remember.

Nope! Both series are new to me. I’ve only read one in Jaci’s Play by Play series. So either would be uncharted territory for me. Sorry to make the choices so tough. Haha!

Oh no that made it easy. The Burton one is better with the rest of the series so going for Tracy’s 🙂

I loved the Play by Play series until book 4…then I kept up for a few more books till I gave up on the series. I really like this new Hope series though.

I have only read Foolish Games in this series…and it wasn’t a favorite with me. I thinkI would rather go with Hope Flames for this one.

Ok, Sophia Rose! I have read both of these and I have to say I chose Hope Flames over Foolish Games.

Hope Flames – http://delightedreader.com/arc-review-hope-flames-jaci-burton/
Foolish Games – http://delightedreader.com/arc-review-foolish-games-by-tracy-solheim/

And I would probably go with Hope Flames…and I cast my vote! Foolish Games wasn’t as great as I hoped and I really loved the dogs from Hope Flames.

Well, since you’ve read both, then you definitely have an informed opinion. Thanks so much! I love the idea of the dogs.
