Week 15 of 2014
Have you spent your settlement yet?

This was a week where I wanted to buy books but nothing struck me that I wanted to buy. I did grab some of the series freebies that All Romance eBooks is giving away for Earth Day. If you haven’t heard, each day ARe is giving away the first book in a series they have chosen. I have to admit I missed one day and another day the book didn’t interest me *gasp*. So hop on over there to get your free book today.

So I stayed on course and spent no money this week. I still have over $90 left on my settlement with Amazon and a whole whopping $.70 with Barnes and Noble I will probably never spend ( just the B&N money).

I got a little over 30 bucks from the settlement and will spend when the month money is gone for sure. But having even touched yet.

I am mostly worried I will spend it on books I will never have time to read so I am trying to spread it out and buy books as they interest me. I am going to stop requesting so many books from NetGalley and get only the books I really will want to read. I am getting to bogged down with books that I have to read to review. I want to buy books i just can’t wait to read!

      • totally understand. I did send mines on Books I actually wanted so that was a plus. I barely go on NG or Edelweiss that much anymore. I told myself to stood with the freebies too…I never read them.

  • Nice job this week! I’ve picked up a few of the Earth Day specials too. I still have all of my $30 left for the month. I’ve been working hard through some review books and others on my shelf like a good little girl. Haha!
