Week 24 of 2014

Back from vacation and I am knocking out reading books left and right. I have my reading mojo back and it is good. So instead of spending a ton of money I read what I have already bought. But I did snag the one deal on Tes Hilaires’s book with a price drop. Black Magic was a novella I missed in a series I was reading and while I enjoyed it, it is very over priced for what you get. Then I grabbed up the next book in the Club Sin series off NetGalley. So right now I am sitting with some money to spend, but you know me…I want to cut the budget some more!

How are you cutting your budget but still getting to read everything you want?

The following two tabs change content below.
Shari is the Delighted Reader. Married to her Prince Charming and mother to two Princesses and one Prince. When she is not slaving away as Cinderella she loves to get lost in the pages of a good book. Never without a reading device and a few good paperback books, because she never knows when she might get 5 minutes to read!
  • I like Tes Hilaire’s series and yeah, totally agree about the overprice on Black Magic (that was in that bundle of novellas I got with gift cards so I wouldn’t be as mad about spend so much for the page amounts). Glad you got your vim back.
This week was quiet for me. I picked up three review books and two freebie shorts. I’ve mostly been tackling my review pile and a few on the TBR that I bought until a couple of new releases come next week. Sitting at about $20 left of my budget of $25.

  • novella’s are sometimes just overpriced…i don’t get it. I haven’t forgotten about my budget. I’m going to do a catch up post this weekend 😉
