Cutting the Budget: Week 27 and 28 – Staying on budget

Cutting the Budget 2014

$30.00
left for July 2014

Week 27 & 28 of 2014

The last few weeks have been hard. Not on the budget but on me personally. A trip to NY kept me busy and not buying books, nor reading. This week, my stepdad’s cancer took a bad turn and he passed away Thursday night. I just couldn’t read nor be interested enough to read. While I lowered the budget, it looks to be safe this month.

How was your week?

How are you cutting your budget but still getting to read everything you want?

The following two tabs change content below.
Shari is the Delighted Reader. Married to her Prince Charming and mother to two Princesses and one Prince. When she is not slaving away as Cinderella she loves to get lost in the pages of a good book. Never without a reading device and a few good paperback books, because she never knows when she might get 5 minutes to read!
  • You’ve had a hard go of it for months now particularly with your step-dad fighting the cancer and the infections. Wishing you well as you and your family draw comfort from each other.

No purchases for me this week or the last either! I just got a pile of review books so that will keep me busy for some time. I’m still at my original $25.
