Week 8 of 2014
Not a penny spent this week! Woohoo!

I have been so intent on reading books I already have this week that I just plain forgot to go looking for anything interesting. I was able to join a tour and get 5 seralized books from NetGalley and then I got 2 free books, which aren’t looking too good to get read soon. Just not an exciting week.

Now we only have 6 more days left in February. Can I keep under $17.94 this week? I think I can! Catch me next week to find out and start a new month of budgeting!

  • You are kicking butt and taking names! That’s a great job. Not only are you not spending, but you’re also getting TBR and review pile books finished.

Now me? I’m $1.50 in the hole on my $20 budget. I bought a book, got two from giveaways, 4 for review and 2 freebies. I’ll need to do what you did so I keep the damage to a minimum.

Me thinks you shouldn’t have reduced your budget amount, lol. You still had a pretty good haul in books! I think I am up to one freebie this week. I am still plugging away on the TBR and Required reading piles so I may just make it this week.

      • Tease! Haha! I am determined to get through this week with just that minor faux pas on my budget, but yes, next month I’m upping the budget by $5 at least. I have two books I’ve been wait for since last year so I know I won’t resist getting them.

  • shoot, I think I went over my $12.84 *sigh*. My post will be up tomorrow. You did good Shari 😀

Ouch! I am hoping to come in under again, but if I do then I guess I need to reduce my budget since I am not using it all 🙁

You did great with those freebies and was super smart getting those serials for review. I don’t understand why they are so expensive, but putting together is a lot to expend in one book.
