To be fair, this book actually is several stories but all into one book. I can’t say that is a bonus. It’s the author’s way of getting you to read the main story, but giving you more in hopes you by her books. After I had read the Go Long story, I immediately went back to Amazon and returned it back to Kindle Unlimited and then picked up a book that would cleanse my palette.
Belinda Carmichael is a pampered and protected by her college coach of a dad. Virgin, princess, and uptight when she meets Kyle, the new man on campus. She doesn’t know much about him, but he comes across arrogant and pushy. Kyle for his part is recently out of the marines and now ready to pursue his dream of playing college football. But for now he wants pussy plain and simple. The two fall into bed and afterwards Belinda asks:
To which he says no and asks if she is on the pill….and she says yes. Get where this story is going?
It goes on to her running away when he gets up to clean up and now he is on the hunt. Needless to say, Kyle just fucked the coach’s daughter….the coach he is trying out for and doesn’t know about these two. It just continues to go downhill into the depths of silliness from there.
So she ends up pregnant and doing Kyle when she can because what the Hell, she’s already pregnant. Mommy and Daddy find out and lock her up. Seriously they lock her in her room. Oh, and let’s not forget she’s a vegan which about gagged me over and over.
Luckily it was all over at about 35% with the additional stories making this one book I regret ever reading. This isn’t my first Joanna Blake story, but it will be my last. The immaturity of the characters made the unlikable and unrelatable. The hero was a misogynist ass and the female not smart enough to know what was going on.
Beware of some books on Kindle Unlimited. They aren’t worth the effort to check out. This is just one of many.
