I was born and raised near Sacramento, CA. I have read since I was four years old and developed tastes that run the gamut of literature. I went away to college and have a degree in education, a certificate in family history research, and a certificate in social work. I worked for a non-profit agency with low income families for 20 years which included being responsible for the children’s library and promoting/teaching adult literacy. I have lived in Southeast Michigan for the last 18 years and I am currently a book addicted homemaker with a cat and husband who keep me grounded. Recently, I made it a challenge to review each book that I have read as a favor to author friends who said reviews are important. I have done reviews for Good Reads, Amazon, eBay, and Smashwords, but mostly at Goodreads and Amazon.

I so need some time to sit down with Juliana Stone’s books! The covers alone make me want to swoon, lol.

Bad Boys series are a good one if you like the small town stuff and she’s got a sisters series too. I have one of her PNRs on my pile to get to at some point to see if I like her writing style in a different genre.

  1. oh, I likes Sophia. I need to maybe try some Holiday books. Don’t know why I’m never in the mood to read them though especially for christmas. I’ve seen the Jessica Scott one around…looks interesting 🙂

    Great picks!

Jessica Scott is one of my favorite Military Romance authors. She was army herself so its authentic. Her dialogue snaps and her guys and gals are hot. This one here needs to be read at least after the first book for optimal enjoyment. This hero is one of my fav characters in her series.
