Navigating Kindle Unlimited at times can be daunting. There is a huge selection and a lot of times I hit more duds than I do diamonds in the rough. While I don’t always read ten books a month on my subscription, I usually always have ten books checked out at once. Do you find it hard to find those stories you want to treasure? Well, I am going to try to help you out with some of my finds after two years of subscribing! And to top it off, Sophia Rose has joined the Kindle Unlimited world and gives us her picks as well!
Do You K.U.? Sophia’s Kindle Unlimited Recommendations
I thought it was all over back in October, but then, lo and behold, Amazon hosted another 3 month for $.99 K.U. trial and I was on again. I signed up during the last weekend in November so I’ve had about a month to ferret out some new books to love and thought I’d share the recommendations with you.
First up, I reached for the Widow’s Island novellas, Close to the Bone by Kendra Elliot and A Bone to Pick by Melinda Leigh. These are the first two in an ongoing series and they are available with the option for audio. These are for the romantic suspense lovers out there who like it a tad atmospheric.
Secondly, I pursued my new adoration for all things Banshee Creek by one-clicking my way through her entire back list which is all part of the KU program, incidentally. For those interested, start with Banshee Creek series, then Main Street Witches, then the Magical Curiosity Shoppe, and finally the Drop Dead Witchy series that just got under way. These are light paranormal cozies with sweet to steamy romances and a strong dose of humor. Though, that said, the newest release, Hex Marks the Spot, tends toward your more traditional Urban Fantasy feel.
Another Ani Gonzalez I enjoyed and recommend was a fun and sweet holiday romance, The Christmas Countdown.
I started with the latest release, Mistletoe Murder by Karen MacInerney for a review. But I will definitely be going back for the earlier releases in the series through the KU program using the audio option since I like Karen White’s audio work. The Dewberry Farm cozy mystery series has a nice side romance down on the farm in small town Texas. These will appeal to cozy mystery fans who want some romance and small town doings on the side.
Finally, for all the sci-fi romance lovers out there, let me recommend Cara Crescent’s A Last Hero Series. The Last Marine was one of my favorite SFRs the year it first released and now there is a second book, Wretched. Action, romance, and great sci-fi world building.
Shari here! I still have my subscription but have slowed down lately using it to get some other reading done. So this one is mostly the books I am looking forward to reading next week. I have the Corinne Michaels series Return to Me in print. But she just put them on KU this week. I grabbed them instantly and can’t wait to start! That’s it for me this go around, but we will be back soon with even more recommendations!
Don’t have a subscription?
Well that’s it for this edition of Kindle Unlimited Recommendations. Let us know how you liked these books! We are always on the look out for new ones to share and hope these excite you as much as they did us in finding them. Check back next time for a new batch of books I have found and recommend!
