Navigating Kindle Unlimited at times can be daunting. There is a huge selection and a lot of times I hit more duds than I do diamonds in the rough. While I don’t always read ten books a month on my subscription, I usually always have ten books checked out at once. Do you find it hard to find those stories you want to treasure? Well, I am going to try to help you out with some of my finds after two years of subscribing! And to top it off, Sophia Rose has joined the Kindle Unlimited world and gives us her picks as well!
It’s been a while since I have recommended some good Kindle Unlimited books, but I have dove in a lot lately and found some gems I liked or have geared up to read!
Series – Dirty by Jaine Diamond
Dirty was a series I started on a whim. A FB Ad caught my eye and I decided to try it out. Dirty Like Me is the first book with Jesse and Katie. Then one by one, each band member falls and even the manager and security manager. This is a band of friends who started out with nothing and added members as it grew. They are family with MC connections, drug addictions, second chances, and even a menage. This series is complete and all books are available, but there is a spin off series that you will recognize is needed when you read some of these books. I can’t wait to start it! Also, there is a novella that explains Zane’s story as you get hints of it through other books. To get that one, you have to sign up for the author’s newsletter at: http://ebook.jainediamond.com/getdirty/ – Dirty Like Us is a free novella you get when you sign up that is actually set before book 1, but you can read this one out of order sometime before Dirty Like Seth. After that, you kind of know what happened if not the full details. Otherwise the entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited!
Don’t Come is a BDSM novel that surprised me as most of those on Kindle Unlimited are horrible. This one is very well written in first person, but you get both sides of the story. The heroine is a new submissive that got drunk and created an online profile on a casual BDSM dating site. She captures the interested of a mysterious man who won’t tell her his name, but goes about patiently inducting her into the world of BDSM. My review will be coming soon!
Say You’ll Stay was a surprise story I found on Kindle Unlimited even though I had the print copy. It surprised me at first what the heroine had to deal with and just how dumb we are in our teens and early twenty’s. While I liked the story in general, it wasn’t a huge knock out. The series is also on Kindle Unlimited.
Thick is a story about a big guy. Yep, he’s big and of course the heroine is tiny….hence her name. The two hook up fast and you wonder how he gets his big thing in her tiny thing. It just isn’t sexy, romantic or captivating, so I would say take a hard miss on this one.
Jase started with teenagers and I thought it would move to them as adults after the opener. Nope, it stays the course as these two go from silly love, to long distance love, to broken hearts and some time to grow up. The heroine’s mom is awesome, but the hero’s family just came off wrong. It felt off from the beginning, the story seemed to have started long before the pages of this book and in the end, I just would advise you to pass on this one as well.
Motorcycle Club romance
Outlaw Justice is a serial series I started when I found out the author Eliza Gayle was now writing as E.M. Gayle. I hadn’t read a book from her in a long while so I started this not really knowing it was going to be a trilogy. The first book is pretty good with a cliffhanger. The second one was rougher, still with another cliffhanger. I just started the third book and it better not end in a cliffhanger!
