M is for Menage!

Ever been in a menage? Nope, me neither and really, I don’t want to be. Now that doesn’t stop me from reading about them, getting excited about them and just plain fantasizing about them. It’s all innocent fun, right? Generally menage means more than 2  – the three part comes from the trois (3 in French) that is usually attached.

Menage also can come in many forms from all female, all male to a mixture of each. But in general when I am reading I tend to stick to my 1 woman, 2 male kind of menages.

What draws us to reading them? Is it the fantasy of having two lovers dedicated to making you feel good? The taboo nature of having more than one person?

So here are a few of my favorite menage books:

Review Melt Into You by Roni Loren

Review If Only by Cherise Sinclair

Review Bet on Ecstasy by Stacey Kennedy

Review Two To Love by Sophie Oak

Review Tart by Lauren Dane

What are your thoughts about menage?

Notable M Words I Considered

Marriage – a bonding or mating where we pledge ourselves for life
Magical – whether it’s real, or imagined, fantasies are made of it
Mickey Mouse – because it all started with a mouse
Mom – the woman we owe our lives to, and who bakes the best cookies
Miracle – the unexpected
M/M – a true love relationship
Laugh – part of live, laugh and love

What’s your M word of the day?

Oh I’m all for them in my reads. Real life…haven’t gone there. But that’s not saying I wouldn’t. *shrugs* Not something I’d hunt down but never know. I just won Cherise’s book. I’m so excited about it!

I’ve read a couple of menage books and they were all with three. I like the situations where the three are a committed relationship, but I’m not so big on the ones where a committed couple is dabbling or playing. I haven’t read any of those listed in your post, but I plan to read at least the Roni Loren and Cherise Sinclair.

I love many m/m romances and yes, they can truly be lovely romances so that would be my ‘M’ word.

I couldn’t agree more. In real life, I’d never do a menage, but in fantasy romance land? HELL YES! 🙂 I recently read a NA menage, “Sweet Ruin” by Nazarea Andrews, that was so well done and sexy, I highly recommend. They are all 23-26, I think, so not fresh from high school, just FYI. Their story continues in October, becase, as the author told me, THREE IS COMPLICATED! 🙂
Adding all your favs to my list; never read any of them, but I’ve heard of Loren and Dane before. 🙂
Enjoy!

Menage’ stories are hit/misses for me. But I like when the males interact more 😀

I chose music for my M word.
