The Delight
This story … gah! It left me fustrated with the hero. Fustrated with the heroine. And just plain fustrated. Two weeks, it’s not a long time, but it’s enough for all the dirty little secrets to come out. It ends in a cliffhanger. I don’t like cliffhangers. Good thing I waited till the second book came out.
Review
The Two Week Arrangement – I don’t really think the timeframe was settled in two weeks, but I may be wrong. It really isn’t enough time for anything other than a fling, but this goes a little deeper than a fling and neither of the characters want that.
The story is of billionaire CEO Dominic Aspen (at 26 years old) running Aspen Hotels. He comes across as cold, but hard working. At night he goes home to his secret twin toddler daughters and you see the side of him he doesn’t want the world to know. So when you need a little relief of the sexual persuation, you hire it, right?
Presley Harper has worked hard to get to this spot. She has an unpaid internship she plans to turn into a full time job. Master of diguise herself, no one would know she is so broke she is staying on her best friends couch while juggling bills for her education and her brother’s tuition. She isn’t blood thirsty and tries not to be dragged into a situation just for money, but when it makes a few things possible, yeah, it feels good. And no she didn’t sell sex.
A night of opportunity for both Presley and Dominic leads to more secrets between the two than answers. Coldness at times is only for protection, but also as armor for when things are misunderstood.
The story is sexy, intriguing, heartwarming and a fist in the gut when things go south. You see sides of people that make them likable, but they hide them as if that will destroy them. The two become entwined in ways they never imagined and it will take another book for them to figure it all out.

They do sound like they get in their own ways a great deal and tough that its an abrupt ending. Hopefully, you get a finish with the next one and can see them resolving things.
The review for the next one comes tomorrow. It just was very cold feeling for the most part.
Oh no, not a cliffhanger. I don’t like cliffhangers either.
I don’t like cliffhangers either. Luckily I had the next book waiting and ready to go. Tomorrow that review posts.
