When Elise gets a text message from her boyfriend that he is breaking up, she swears she should know better. Hitting a bar, she drinks a few berating herself for not knowing he was married when a tattoo covered hunk sits down next to her and orders her another drink. Her panties instantly get wet with desire, but she isn’t in the right frame of mind to jump onto another man so quick. But who can resist the bad boy vibes coming off of Vinter?
Vinter’s comfortable with himself and the life he has. He is one-third owner in a bar and tattoo shop loving his beer cold, his women hot, and plays as a bassist in a band. So why does he find himself attracted to a suburban business lady?
One night of passion explodes into a passionate, scorching hot week of sex, piercings, and tattoos. He is the bad boy she has always dreamed about but never had the guts to go after.
Scorching HOT! That is what this book is. I am sure my Kindle will never work again after melting from all the passionate lust that flowed from these pages! it is a short book, and that is why it gets a B+ rating. How Lissa Matthews packs these novellas with so much detail but not make it so long of a book is amazing and magical.
Besides the totally hot sex that is in this book, we see Elise grow and realize she wants things she can totally have. She isn’t the small, skinny thing, but all those curves fit quite nice in Vinter’s hands. And while you would think the tats and piercings on Vinter would make him a bad ass…well it does make him a bad ass, he shows such wonderful tenderness to Elise. Don’t equate tenderness to weak sex though…it is hot and heavy! Lots of rebound sex, hunk cooking, piercing exploration and just plain being human with each other.
That may sound funny, but a lot of times in books you don’t really see the inner workings of a person and they are stereotypical. Vinter can’t be put into a category…he is his own category.
