The Great Pick Up Line featuring
Under the Hood by Juanita Kees
“Tiffany-Jane Stevens?” His voice reverberated through her, deep and rumbling. Not unlike thunder—which matched the expression on his face.
She shivered. “Yes?”
“Scott Devin. Tie your damn shoes, take off that ridiculous skirt, and meet me in my office.” With that, he spun around and stalked off.
Under the Hood
by Juanita Kees
When Scott Devin buys a struggling car dealership in semi-rural Western Australia, the last person he expects to see in charge is a stilletto-wearing, mini-skirted foreperson. Exactly the distraction a struggling, male-dominated workshop doesn’t need! But there’s more to TJ Stevens than meets the eye.
TJ Stevens has two major goals in life: to preserve her grandfather’s heritage and protect her teenage rehabilitation program — and she’ll go to any lengths to do it. Scott Devin’s presence is a threat to everything she’s worked hard to achieve, so keeping him at arms length shouldn’t be a problem…or will it?

Oh oh! That meet up looks ominous. Haha! Now I’m curious.
Hi Sophia, it sure felt ominous for TJ, LOL, until she enters the ‘lion’s den’. 😉
Hmm, lion’s den…
I love when there’s a female like TJ in books. And how cool that she goes by TJ.

Hi Christy, I wanted to create a really fun character in TJ – a touch of tomboy but with a thing for shoes and a great sense of humour. I think I succeeded 🙂
If she works with men and she likes skirts, she’s strong willed enough NOT to listen to stupid demands and of course she has those cute little cheerleader shorts on under the skirt 🙂
I, too, love stories of girls working in male-dominated careers – I was a securities trader and there aren’t a lot of fellow ladies there 😉 Love the protective men!
I love strong women, so I can’t wait to see how she handles this.

I’ll give you a little hint, Kristin 😉 She’s feisty!
I laughed so hard at what he told her to do. Yep, I wonder how she handles the situation. Everyone…got get a copy of this book to find out!
I love the unexpected choices in this one–a foreman in a car dealership who wears stiletto heels? Not the norm. Sounds very interesting!

I love it when ladies take on a job that is interpreted to be for men!

You’ll love her shoes, Stephanie 🙂
Scott sounds quite busy with how he’s makign demands of her. It sounds interesting with how she’s working in a car deadlership and I wonder what happens next and how she handles the situation. I like the cover for this one, it looks like it fits the book well. And thanks for the giveaway!
I hope it is as good as it had me laughing to see what would happen next.
I promise you she makes a few of her own demands, Lola 😉
What a great pick up line….I am so intrigued!!
Isn’t it? He tells her to take off the skirt…and I wonder what is underneath and why he thinks she can take it off 🙂
He has a few more I hope you’ll love even more!

Scott and TJ are worthy opponents. it will be fun to about their romance!
I can’t wait to read what happens next!
Hi Jeanna, yes they are very worthy opponents. TJ is feisty and gives him a good run for his money 🙂
I can’t wait to read this.
Me too. But I have to finish what I am currently reading first!
I’m glad I have you intrigued 😀
I feel like she wouldn’t take the skirt off but now I’m going to have to read to find out!
Me too!
