To Be or Not to Be…Read TBR Pile Vote March

Sophia's To Read or Not

Each month, I will post up a pair (or more) of books.  I would like you to vote on a choice.  Yes!  You will have the job of telling me what to read from my pile each month.  I welcome your vote no matter what reason you choose (frivolous, serious or otherwise) that particular book and do share your reason in the comments just because I’m nosy.  I will update everyone at the end of the month in my reading update and will of course share my thoughts on the book itself in my review.

Last month, I really challenged myself by offering up two books from the middle of their series.  Well, this month, I’ve decided to go with a couple of historical romance choices from two new to me authors.

Thanks for your vote!  It’s fun to read a book that other readers have chosen for me.

The following two tabs change content below.
I was born and raised near Sacramento, CA. I have read since I was four years old and developed tastes that run the gamut of literature. I went away to college and have a degree in education, a certificate in family history research, and a certificate in social work. I worked for a non-profit agency with low income families for 20 years which included being responsible for the children’s library and promoting/teaching adult literacy. I have lived in Southeast Michigan for the last 18 years and I am currently a book addicted homemaker with a cat and husband who keep me grounded. Recently, I made it a challenge to review each book that I have read as a favor to author friends who said reviews are important. I have done reviews for Good Reads, Amazon, eBay, and Smashwords, but mostly at Goodreads and Amazon.
  • I thought it was funny that pick number one is a second book in a series and pick number two is a first book in a series. I voted for Temptation has Green Eyes as it sounds like a good one. I read the blurb on Goodreads and the hint of the powerful connection she wishes to keep a secret sounds intriguing. I hope you’ll enjoy whichever one wins!

    • Oh, hey, didn’t notice that. That is a fun quirky thing with the number order.

Yes, the secret is what has me interested, too. So far I’ve enjoyed all the voter winners. It does helped that something about them had me add them to my book pile at some point.

  • I think I will go with..1

  • I have heard some great things about Lynn Connolly. So I picked one.

    • Yes, I saw someone do a strongly positive review on another book so I was glad to see I had one of hers to try.

  • I went with the first one because it looks steamy! ;D

Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!

  • First, I love the cover of Temptation has Green Eyes. Then after reading both book blurbs, I’d still go with that one! Who says you can’t choose a book by it’s cover?? Lol!

  • The cover for Temptation Has Green Eyes looks hot. I admit that I picked the cover that I liked the best 🙂

    Carole @ Carole’s Random Life

    • Cover love happens with me a lot, Carole! I have so many as result of a cover grabbing my attention. 🙂

  • I went with Temptation Has Green Eyes cox the cover 😉 can’t wait to see your review

    • It is a sensual cover. I’ll have the review pressed and dressed and ready for you within a month. 🙂

  • Woohoo that first one! Hope either that’s picked is fabulous 🙂

    • Seems to be the big frontrunner so looks like it will be the fabulous one. 🙂 Just saw the next one in the series up for Net Galley so I might snag it on the chance this one is good and I want to keep going plus the blurb sounds good on it.
