To Be or Not to Be…Read TBR Pile Vote March

Sophia's To Read or Not

Each month, I will post up a pair (or more) of books. I would like you to vote on a choice. Yes! You will have the job of telling me what to read from my pile each month. I welcome your vote no matter what reason you choose (frivolous, serious or otherwise) that particular book and do share your reason just because I’m nosy. I will update everyone at the end of the month in my reading update and will of course share my thoughts on the book itself in my review.

This past month you all voted for the donut. Haha! Well not the donut, but the book The Two Gentlemen of Altona that featured a donut on the cover. Hope you checked out my review to see what that cover had to do with the story.

So for March, I present you with two more from my TBR pile for you to vote on. I was going to go with a theme, but the themosaurus creative spark ditched me this month. These two have one aspect of similarity in that one has a present military hero and one has an ex-military hero, but other than that, these stories are pret-ty different. Feel free to poke about through the link to their GoodReads pages to check them out and tell me which one you want me to read and review for you.

The following two tabs change content below.
I was born and raised near Sacramento, CA. I have read since I was four years old and developed tastes that run the gamut of literature. I went away to college and have a degree in education, a certificate in family history research, and a certificate in social work. I worked for a non-profit agency with low income families for 20 years which included being responsible for the children’s library and promoting/teaching adult literacy. I have lived in Southeast Michigan for the last 18 years and I am currently a book addicted homemaker with a cat and husband who keep me grounded. Recently, I made it a challenge to review each book that I have read as a favor to author friends who said reviews are important. I have done reviews for Good Reads, Amazon, eBay, and Smashwords, but mostly at Goodreads and Amazon.
  • I read the synopsis of both. While Boots on the Ground sounds like a sweet, lovely story, Mistaken by Fate brought out the “I need to know what happens!” vibe! Looking forward to your review of either story 😉

    • Oh, that’s good. I love it when a blurb does that to me. I look forward to either book even though they are both so very different. Thanks, Nelle!

  • Going for the abs and dogtags! I hope I voted for the better of the two

    • Hey, that works for me. I’ll be happy to read either so no worries there, Braine.

  • Boots to the Ground for sure…plus I like the sound of it 🙂

    • That does have a powerful ring to the title. Thanks, Sharonda!

  • Lola R

I voted for Mistaken by Fate as I’ve seen some of those Entangled Brazen books around and they always look interesting. I like the style they use for those covers. Will have to check out your review of the donut next!

    • Brazen does have the eyecatching covers.

I think Shari scheduled the ‘donut’ review for April 8th.

  • Ooo Katee is one I need to try soon. Hers look fabulously naughty 😀

    • I think so too. He sounds so devious and hot to switch things up on her like that.
