Her Warriors’ Three Wishes is the second book in my Dante’s Circle series and it’s been a long time coming. I’ve been waiting to share more of this world of mine for almost a year and now I get to show you!
How did I come up with Dante’s Circle? It all started with a bit of dust…
Over a year ago Rebecca Royce asked me what would happen if I, as a chemist, had to analyze angel dust. From that came Dust of My Wings with Lily and Shade where I introduced a world where humans aren’t so human, but diluted versions of supernaturals. You see, in my world, there are almost every type of “alive” paranormal out there. Meaning no vampires or zombies…for now. Tee hee.
Lily and six of her friends were thrown into this new world by getting struck by lightning where they’re now changing into paranormals and the dark is coming. The girls and the men around them don’t know why it happened, but they know it had to be for a reason. Now each girl, once they find their true half—or halves in some cases—will be able to turn into the paranormal creature their DNA suggests.
I love shifters and have written a couple series with them and I plan on doing more in this series with shifters, but now I get to have angels, demons, brownies, bears, mermen and so much more!
Her Warriors’ Three Wishes, book 2, is now available and I can’t wait for you guys to see how Shade’s friend Ambrose, Lily’s friend Jamie, and Balin, the demon who needs them more than he thought, come together. Thank you Rebecca for the plot bunny!
The name of the bar and series DANTE’S CIRCLE came from the actually literary work, Dante’s Inferno in which there were the circles of hell that Dante traversed. I read it in high school and enjoyed it and it really resonated with me. So when I decided the bar owner and dragon was named Dante, the idea that he could be attached to Dante’s Inferno in some way was great for me. No, Dante isn’t THAT Dante and my hell that you’ll see is NOTHING like Dante’s Inferno’s hells, but you’ll see why he has a special connection to hell anyway in Her Warriors’ Three Wishes.
So yes, I had so, so much fun coming up with this work where just about anything can happen. I do hope you get to try out Dante’s Circle’s first two books and the other five (plus a novella!) to come. This one is near and dear to my heart and I can’t wait to see what you think!
Humans aren’t as alone as they choose to believe. Every human possesses a trait of supernatural that lays dormant within their genetic make-up. Centuries of diluting and breeding have allowed humans to think they are alone and untouched by magic. But what happens when something changes?
Ambrose Griffin is older than most, if not all, civilizations. As each year passes, he submerses himself into his training, only relaxing around his protégée and friend, Shade. After losing his wife and children in the last Angelic Wars, he guards his heart and has no desire to share it with another.
Bookkeeper and romance novel enthusiast, Jamie Bennett dreams of being swept off her feet by a white knight. However, her life is no romance book. Since meeting Ambrose—a sexy, delicious angel—she’s been twisted inside out and doesn’t know why. Things are happening that she can’t control and now her life is in danger.
Balin Drake is stuck in hell, literally. His life of refusing to take souls, even though it’s part of his demon nature, has caught up with him. He’s dying and now must search for his true half, but even a mating may not save him. When he meets the two people who could fill that part, he’ll need to fight for something he hasn’t felt in over a century—hope.
Warning: Contains a rigid angel who needs a certain sexy woman to help him unwind, a book keeper who finds herself the creamy center of the best cookie ever, and a demon who has a certain taste for pressing them both against walls.

Jamie’s skin tightened, and weakness spread through her. She fought off the shakes that normally came with it and she knew she must look pale. “Yeah, that’s it.” Not the fact that she’d felt out of sorts for a freaking year because a certain angel had left her alone in the human realm.
A flash of white caught her eye, and Jamie barely held back a gasp.
Oh, that just figured.
Ambrose, the man she’d tried to forget, walked toward her, a frown on his face. The man—no, angel—seemed to always be frowning, never smiling. His face would probably crack if he ever did show a happier emotion.
“Is everything all right?” he asked, his voice deep. The rough sound shot straight through her system. She was helpless to defend herself against it.
She knew she resembled one of the heroines in the romance novels she loved to read, standing there doe-eyed, falling in love…
Damn the man.
