Now Thanksgiving Recommendations, yeah…this is a bit tougher for me. I’ve only read one or two including the one I already mentioned above so I’m going to list a few I discovered, but haven’t read yet.

Review His Road Home by Anna Richland

First I have one that was offered to me for review. I’ve read the author before and liked her stuff.
Key words caught me: Thanksgiving Road Trip, Military hero, marine biologist (geeky heroine),
TBI, faked fiancée story. Yep. Sign. Me. Up!

His Road Home by Anna Richland, Contemporary Romance

I checked Harlequin because hey, they’re always good for the holiday feely reads, right? And they didn’t let me down. In fact, they have a Thanksgiving/Military Romance, so perfect.

Thanksgiving Daddy by Rachel Lee

And then I saw this one, it looks cute and fun and very much on the wish list now.

Thanksgiving by Janet Evanovich

Now this one sounds like it will have some laugh out loud moments and it’s a shorty.

Thanksgiving in Connecticut by May McGoldick

And Thanksgiving on a Ranch? I’m there!

A Small Town Thanksgiving by Marie Farrarella

Incidentally, I’m not listing them, but there were several Cowboy Romances set at Thanksgiving.
Interesting correlation…I’m definitely thankful for the cowboys.

Once Upon a Thanksgiving by Holly Jacobs

Principals were never this handsome when I was in school.

And a couple more shorts that are friends to lovers storylines: The Bird Day Battalion by Genevieve Dewey, CR and A Thankful Love by K. Victoria Chase, CR-Interracial (I point this out for Sharonda @ Brazen Babes who has made this niche a reading challenge this year.) They were free at the time I wrote this post so maybe you’ll get lucky, guys.

This is an equal opportunity recommendations post so feel free to chime in with your two-bits about what I picked and/or add some recommendations of your own for us all to share in.

I was born and raised near Sacramento, CA. I have read since I was four years old and developed tastes that run the gamut of literature. I went away to college and have a degree in education, a certificate in family history research, and a certificate in social work. I worked for a non-profit agency with low income families for 20 years which included being responsible for the children’s library and promoting/teaching adult literacy. I have lived in Southeast Michigan for the last 18 years and I am currently a book addicted homemaker with a cat and husband who keep me grounded. Recently, I made it a challenge to review each book that I have read as a favor to author friends who said reviews are important. I have done reviews for Good Reads, Amazon, eBay, and Smashwords, but mostly at Goodreads and Amazon.

Yay for Thanksgiving. That one was so cute. I’ve seen a lot of good reviews for His Road Home. I’ll have to check that out at some point 😀

Absolutely! His Road Home is a good one. I can’t wait to read some of these after finding them.
