Manaconda by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott
My name is Hunter Jordan, lead singer of Hammered and no, I didn’t name my cock Manaconda.
Rolling Stone did.
On the front cover of their damn magazine.
I still haven’t lived it down. And now our record label wants to maximize the frenzy.
So, I have a brand new PR person–Kennedy McManus.
And she’s making me insane.
I don’t know whether to ignore her, yell at her, or push her up against the wall and kiss her smart mouth shut.
BEYOND OBLIVION – A Rockstar Romance full of sexy fun set within the world of our Lost in Oblivion series! You never know who you’ll see show up in the books.
*A STANDALONE NOVEL
*Originally ended in a cliffhanger, but now includes Manaconda: The Second Coming to make a standalone story.

The Delight
[quote]Manaconda delivers on comedy with a side of sexy, sweet romance that knows when to get dirty. Throw in a rock band and some past characters and you have a groovy romance to dance!

Manaconda drew me in right away with the sexy rockers with a side of comedic elements over the snake hidden in one Hunter Jordan’s pants. While the original story ended in a cliffhanger, the authors have since add the second part to the original story. No cliffhanger for me! *fist pump*
If you have been following my reviews lately you have seen me go on and on about the rock band Oblivion, who is signed with Ripper Records and Lila Shawcross. This is all set in the same world and Hammered is another band in her arsenal. Hammered is a band that’s been around a little longer than Oblivion and are on a roll of success. With this series we have a few more rockers to get through as they have a full band. Hunter, Keys, Owen, Zack, Bats, Wyatt and I hope I didn’t miss anyone…
So, Hunter is getting a lot of publicity for a Rolling Stone cover that shows him with all his package on display. Coined Manaconda, Hunter feels like a piece of meat on display for all the masses. But he is more than just a cock on display. He can cook, oh my God, I want to try his food and he promotes a charity for adopting animals *sighs longingly* I really couldn’t find much wrong with him other than he is short tempered…and has an ex he can’t seem to be calm about. Let’s be honest though…even though he detests the magazine and what it has done to his life, he does go rub his junk on some VIPs in a concert, making the Manaconda a big part of the show.
Kennedy comes blazing in to fulfill a favor she owes Ripper Records head. She has extra copies of Rolling Stone to give away and needs the lead singer to be available. So off she goes to find him…in the hotel kitchen cooking with the lead chef, his friend. He knows all the back ways in the hotel so getting around the crowds should be quick right? Only they get caught kissing and now she is labeled Hunter’s girlfriend. In Kennedy style, she spins the story to put a good light on the band. One night in bed with Hunter shouldn’t cause a problem right?
Then there is Victoria, Hunter’s ex, who keeps showing up at their gigs with another bandmate, Bats. No one knows what is really going on between Bats and Victoria, but Bats keeps telling Hunter to believe in him. Let’s just say this all causes a lot of turmoil, turned funny, turned into passion at times.
The story is quick and flows easily that you don’t realize you at the end and time has flown by while you read. It engaged my senses and had me wanting to be a part of their world. There are moments to smile, laugh, shake your head in disgust and think this might just work out. The band is cohesive for the most part, with little shake ups along the way. Oh, and you get to read about the Manaconda when there isn’t cloth separating your imagination from it! Why, yes, I can confirm it is truly a Manaconda any woman would love to have *wink wink*
Kennedy and Hunter work together. They argue and have different life goals, but in the end, they fit like puzzle pieces have have been lost for a long time. A fantastic book that engages your mind and doesn’t let lose until the end, pick it up!

I laughed so hard at the title of this book. Yep, this one is definitely going on my TBR list. lol
Yeah, I laughed at the title too. I ended up loving these two characters!
After seeing that title, I had to find ut what the story was about. Even better than I imagined.
It was a fun story!
What a hoot! Loved your playful review, btw!
It was a fun story and I can’t wait to find out what the heck Bats is doing with Victoria.
I love your review Shari! This was new to me, but I added to my wishlist 🙂
Thanks! I loved how cute and fun this was. Unfortunately the second on is more serious.
Haha! I’m not usually into rockstar romances, but damn I want to read this.
Oh, please go read it. It is more about the people than the actual music, but it is so much fun!
