Naomi has had it with men of her race…a race of animal shapeshifters. Growing up with five brothers, she has seen so many of her belongings get damaged when her brothers couldn’t control themselves. So now she is looking for a normal, sedate human to be her mate.
While at a lacrosse game with her friend, Naomi meets not one but two men destined to be her mate. Her wolf knows it and even her mother knows it, but Naomi isn’t giving in. She doesn’t want Ethan, a Kodiak bear, and Javier, a jaguar. Now these two rough and tumble men must convince Naomi they are her true mate and that her happiness is their utmost goal.
While it may seem funny how possessive Naomi is of her belongs, she has reason after you hear the description of her parents house. How they all meet is quite the story and goes a long way into proving her first opinion of the men. While the romance supposedly moves on, I never felt she really fell in love with them. It just seemed like her wolf instinct took over and blam…they were mated. The characters were ok, just not as likable as you would want. I take that back…I actually liked the two main characters, Ethan and Javier. They had lacrosse as their stress releaver, but also careers outside of the sport.
This was just an ok book. I would recommend it, but not if you are looking for a great book.
