I still remember the day when Eliza Gayle commented on one of my Twitter posts (long before I was a blogger) about how she like the name of my newspaper, which is called Pixie Dust and based on Disney Tweets. She like the name Pixie Dust and I have loved her ever since. Flash forward to Authors After Dark in New Orleans when I met her for the first time and she knew who I was! I was a nobody, but she remembered me! So I snap up her books each chance I get.
Levi’s Ultimatum picks up right after Tucker’s Fall with another silent owner of Purgatory. Levi has felt lost since since the night of his father’s death. Never feeling like he has a home to go back too, he decides its time to officially go back home. When he hits town, he stops by the small town restaurant owned by Tucker’s little sister. Grungy and over grown hair, he meets a precocious five year old and falls instantly in love with her cuteness, but when he lays eyes on her mother, Tori Ford, he is floored with the instant feeling of ownership he has for her. Checking in on Purgatory, he encounters Tori as Mistress Cat, a Domme working with male subs. Intrigued, Levi outs her to the club manager and moves in for the rights to call her his submissive.
Over the years Catori Ford has gone from submissive, to wife, to mother, to single mother divorce. She doesn’t need the added complications of a day to day man in her life. Her submissive days died with the love of her life and she doesn’t want to go back. Being a paid Mistress, and waitress are just to make ends meet. Her secret desire is baking pies and wants to grow that into a business to support her daughter. But there is some need inside her that makes her want to submit to this unknown man with a dark past.
The a possible tragedy comes into play, the two learn more about the character of each other and have to learn trust to move forward. As the story moves on, you finally learn a little more about what happened the night they were young that caused them to split up. Levi, Tucker, Mason and Nina are harboring secrets that are slowly coming to light to both their inner circle and quite possibly the world.
The story is short and move extremely quickly, but nevertheless it moves on full on steam to bring you some of the most incinerating BDSM scenes. There is heart, love, sex, and some spankings to keep you warm, but also a deep mystery to keep you intrigued to want the next story now. So now I get to start pestering Eliza for the next story. Please write faster 🙂
