The Delight
I have to admit, I have only read two books in this series. There was novella in the beginning and then I read book one before jumping to book eleven! I loved the heroine of this story. She was spunky and didn’t take shit off of anyone. The hero was a little more stick up his ass kind of guy, but he also had a young son to look after. With the collars still being around, this lead to some interesting scenarios.
Review
We start off with a bang and it is a ride to the end. Angus is living a quiet life after the betrayal of his wife and brother, so when he is asked to hunt down a female shifter who was involved with his brother, he wants to say no. Unfortunately, the human agents have his young cub and won’t give him back until he brings her in. Between a rock and a hard place, he hunts down the shifter, captures her….feels a lot of remorse, but hey, they have his cub …and then all Hell breaks loose.
The Shifter Bureau is hell bent on capturing Tamsin. She has managed to stay just one step ahead. She has secrets that could end her life and secrets she doesn’t know the meaning of and doesn’t want to know. Spunky to the end, she doesn’t let life keep her down and thrives on the adventure they are all thrown into.
Angus and Tamsin make a great couple and balance each other out as opposites. The cub is a delight as they travel with a carnival and meet up with characters I didn’t know, but who must be from the series. I did see characters I do know, which gave me a connection I needed.
Overall, I never felt confused enough that I couldn’t follow the story. It was action packed with an Alpha trying to control a woman who just wasn’t made to be controlled. A delight of extra characters to love and cubs to snuggle with. A very fun read!

This sounds like a hot book! I would love to read Jennifer Ashley. I see her books everywhere but haven’t had the chance yet.

All these books sound great! Thanks for the chance.
I’ve read most of these, including this one, and while it’s good to read in order-as I did at first-I don’t think it’s necessary either. I read this one out of order as well. I really liked it and loved the carnival aspect. And the “house” thing!
