The Delight

An escort business owner and employee himself, decides to write a sex handbook…except he’s having a few problems. What ensues is a sexy story without the hangups of the career and some deep family drama!

Case has lost it. He owns an escort company he started out by his own penis. Well, his and a bunch of his friends. They escort women and sometimes have sex. Not embarrassed by what he does, he makes a woman feel good….except his favorite body part has now decided it isn’t happy with the ladies he is being hired to entertain. To top it off, the deadline for the sex book he is writing is only a month away and he doesn’t have a page written. Frustration is the name of this game.
That’s right. The last three times I took a woman to bed, I haven’t been able to get it up. Let’s get one thing straight: there’s nothing wrong with my dick. I still wake up every morning with the little man saluting like a proud soldier.
Sienna’s older brother gets her a summer job after she graduates from college…working with Case as his assistant. She know exactly what her brother does for a living and what her new boss does as well. Not quite sure what she wants to do with her career choices, she decides to organize up this grumpy man and his office. Along the way she puts him on a writing schedule, edits his books, and decides he is the perfect one for a summer fling, but not at $5,000 a night.
I shrug and cross my arms, stepping back to lean one hip against my desk. I’m about to point out that she couldn’t afford a ride on this love stick, but then I remember she said Ryder’s a trust-fund kid. Which means she is too. She could probably afford multiple rides on this love stick.
Case is all attracted to Sienna, but she’s the little sister of his best friend. This is kind of weird…they didn’t know each other before she started working for him. She knew what her brother did, Case is his best friend, but they had never met. Go figure. The attraction gets going and Case is conflicted that this is his friends sister, but she is also the first woman in months his penis has been happy to meet.

The two start up a secret relationship, both unsure of the other. Is he going to go back to the escort business and leave her? Does he expect to keep her and still go on dates for his business? What will happen when their secret is out? Does she want nothing more than a summer fling? Lots of questions, little discussion and lots of drama.
Being in this profession means no woman could ever fall in love with me. Not that I don’t get it. Sex is my job. I’m tainted goods. But hearing the confirmation straight from Sienna’s pretty mouth? Well, that hurts more than I’d like to admit.
The story isn’t heavy on drama or problems. While the matter of getting paid for sex is a big one, it is kind of glossed over for the most part other than wondering if he was going back to it. To each their own, but I think I want some conversation about where that miracle dick has been.

Sienna has some career choices to make, but then again so does Case. This brings out what people will do for one another, but also what people in love will be willing to do. It’s not an overly complicated story even if there is some complications in careers *cough* prostitution. For a quickie, this one will leave you happy, but don’t pay $5,000 for it!

I loved The Kiss Quotient and the premise was kind of the same, but it does make me uneasy. Especially wondering if the guy will go back to “escorting” when they’re done. I couldn’t date or have a relationship with an escort. And yeah, I’d ask where that “magic” dick was before I’d ever let it near me. Glad to hear it was low on drama. 🙂

I heard a lot about the author and I really should try her novels!

Yeah, I think this sort of romance would be a tough sell for me, but I’ve read a ton of the Historical ‘courtesan’ ones so why not contemporary male escorts. 😉

Melissa (Books and Things)

I don’t know if the book is for me, but I really loved the review! “miracle dick ” ? Bwa ha ha! Yea, some real talk about it would be nice.

A sex handbook. LOL love it

WOW! This sounds fun. It’s neat for some reason when a guy is totally frustrated until a certain woman comes along. ❤️ though the prostitution thing is a little icky… Great review though you sum it all up so well.
