The Delight
A naive heroine moving out on her own and a big guy hiding from the world get together and it is a whirlwind romance with an epilogue. It’s short, silly and over the top. I can’t really decide if I should laugh, cry or shake my head.
Review
Teeny just moved out on her own when her parents go off on vacation. She’s young, sweet and naive. She creates stuffed animals as her day job, but she is excited to get to know her neighbors. She tries to contact the guy across the hall, but he doesn’t want to come out.
Bull has always been a big guy. Tired of the stares, he starts his own security business and works it from home. Venturing out isn’t something he likes to do, but the woman across the hall intrigues him. He wants to protect her and never dreams she can fall in love with him.
Like I said it’s quick. An assault leads to some deeper problems and the next thing you know they are off and being intimate, but I am not sure how he got his…well cock….all the way in. That’s just how the author described him. Bigger than anyone with Teeny being so small.
The story gives you an epilogue and these two go on to procreate. Good for them, but this was way over the top for my liking.

I just laughed reading your review The way you wrote it was great. I’ve read another book by Alexa Riley and I didn’t really like it. Many others rave about them but ♀️ I just don’t see it.

Glad I could give you a laugh! Amazon is always recommending her books to me and I haven’t found one of them I like. I guess since she is and indie author, she must spend a fortune on advertising. I keep telling myself to look away, look away and don’t click the read button!
Sometimes, it is so tough to buy into the story. Oh well…
This was such a silly story. Somehow I missed the part when they decided to get hot and heavy and the next thing I know he can’t get it all the way in. But somehow it all works out. I need to figure out how to get Amazon and FB to stop advertising this author to me. I really don’t want to read any more.
Bummer! This had promise.
The author writes quickly, but sometimes I wish they would spend more time developing the plot, the internal conflict and some deeper emotions.
