As usual, I have signed up for a plethora of reading challenges for the year and will, in all likelihood, engage in some short term challenges and read-a-thons.
At first glance, this may seem a crazy endeavor and impossible to achieve, but there is method here. All the challenges allow for books read to also count toward other challenges and most of these challenges have some overlap so invariably I will have books counting for several challenges at once.
I have a variety of reasons for choosing each challenge from the obvious- it’s fun- to a balance of wishing to clear out more from my TBR pile to trying new to me authors and books.
This is the official ‘sign up’ post where I declare my goals for each challenge. Because there are so many, I’m not going to say much about the individual challenges, but I will leave a link so you can investigate further if you’d like.

Read any free or mostly free ebooks and audios with the exception of certain specific times when any books, even borrowed, are allowed.
GOAL: 60 books
Blog All About It hosted by Anna @ Herding Cats and Burning Soup
A monthly post on the blog to fit a word prompt

Austenesque Lovers TBR Pile Challenge on GoodReads
Any Jane Austen related book in any format.

GOAL: Mt. Everest level 100 books
Any book and any format released after January 1, 2019. At least 100 pages.
GOAL: New Release Enthusiast level 200 books

A romance series with at least 5 books/novellas left unread.

A list of clues. One clue per romance book.

A Year in Anthologies hosted by Michelle @ Because Reading
Read as many anthologies as I can. Under 500 pages is one point and over 500 pp is 2 points.
GOAL: 3 anthologies
Reading Assignment Spring Semester hosted by Michelle and Berls @ Because Reading
3 different ‘professors’ with three levels of assignments for January through May 2019
GOAL: Beginner level of one book a month in three different ‘classes’: 5 books by Mary Balogh, 5 sci-fi romances, and five from a specific list
A mash of the Monopoly game with romance reading. ‘Play’ by rolling die and reading book genre in square or going around the board in order. There are ‘mystery’ readathons during course of the year and specific quarterly social media challenges.
GOAL: The Native level 39 books (whole board rolling dice) and all social media challenges
GOAL: Marathoner level 50+ books
Only historical romance and only published before 2010.
GOAL: The Newbie level 5-10 books

hostesses for putting these challenges together.
