Each month, I will post up a pair (or more) of books. I would like you to vote on a choice. Yes! You will have the job of telling me what to read from my pile each month. I welcome your vote no matter what reason you choose (frivolous, serious or otherwise) that particular book and do share your reason in the comments just because I’m nosy. I will of course share my thoughts on the book itself in my review post.
This month my theme is Irish Romance whether in characters or settings.
Candidate #1
Wild Irish Heart by Tricia O’Malley
#1 Mystic Cove
Paranormal Romance
Blurb:
From New York Times Bestselling author, Tricia O’Malley, comes a romance series set on the rocky shores of Ireland.
It is time…
An ancient book, a power untouched, and a heart unloved lead Keelin O’Brien from her graduate studies in Boston to a small village on the coast of Southern Ireland. Determined to unearth the secrets lying hidden in the enchanted waters of the cove, Keelin has little time for a surly Irishman who infuriates her during the day and haunts her fantasies at night.
Inexplicably drawn to the woman who has stepped from his dreams and into his world, Flynn fights a stubborn battle against his increasing attraction for Keelin. Forces unknown have better plans for the two.
Only the secrets of the cove can show Keelin who she really is, the beauty of her mysterious power, and a love that will break the bounds of what she knows.
Candidate #2
Wild Irish Ride by Jennifer Saints
#1 Weldon
Romantic Suspense
Blurb:
A couple’s sensual journey from the strictures of their lives to explore the passion they left behind and discover a love they never thought they would have.
Twelve years ago wrong side of the tracks bad boy, Jesse Weldon, was framed for a crime he didn’t commit by the blue-blooded Jordan family. Now he’s back in Savannah with his highly successful security company to put the Weldon name on the right side of the tracks. Unfortunately, before he can even make a move in that direction, he runs into Alexandria Jordan and ends up making the same mistake he did before. He succumbs to her allure, but this time, he plans on getting her out of his system for good and walking away.
Except for a few wild moments with Jesse at seventeen, Alexi Jordan has followed the life expected of her. But a Wedding Day betrayal from her blue-blooded fiancé has her running from her life and right into the arms of the man she’d never forgotten, Jesse. Yet as she forges a new future for herself amid the scandal of her aborted wedding, Alexi finds herself the target of a twisted killer and both her and Jesse’s days are now numbered.

I voted for Wild Irish Heart as I like the cover for that one, it looks pretty!
Yes, that is a pretty and soothing cover. I want that place for a vacation spot. LOL
It was hard to pick one but I picked Wild Irish Ride because of the twisted killer element.
Yeah, even the titles are close. LOL
Oh yep, that twisted killer part grabbed my attention, too. 🙂
I voted for Wild Irish Heart….I have some of her other books on my kindle and haven’t read her yet so I am curious what you think of her.
LOL, I’ll be the intrepid explorer for you, Renee. It does sound pretty good. 🙂
WordPress won’t let me login to vote for some reason, but I think I’d read Wild Irish Heart because I would just love to live in that seaview cottage. A stunning location!
What a shame, Stephanie! Thanks for trying. I will make sure your vote counts.
Oh yes, that is a lovely setting on that cover and I would gladly live there. 🙂
Wild Irish Heart because for a change I had actually read it! I think you will like it.
Haha! Super. Always fun to get a vote with confidence from one who has read it. 🙂
I chose Wild Irish Ride because romantic suspense always sounds good. Hugs…
Romantic suspense is my catnip, too, Ro. 🙂
I missed the vote but oh they both look really good. The winner was the one I would have picked first. Hope you have fun with it!
I love that it has a touch of the mystic to it since I always associate Ireland as magical. 🙂 It will make a great St. Paddy’s day read.
