I have hit upon a new idea (read that as gimmick) to work on my hellaciously high TBR pile. Part of my TBR pile-o-phobia is to actually settle upon a choice so I have decided to elicit your assistance in this matter.
Each month, I will post up a pair (or more) of books. I would like you to vote on a choice. Yes! You will have the job of telling me what to read from my pile each month. I welcome your vote no matter what reason you chose (frivolous, serious or otherwise) that particular book and do share your reason just because I’m nosy. I will update everyone at the end of the month in my reading update and will of course share my thoughts on the book itself in my review.
So here we go…up for vote to be read in October a few PNR Spookys. We have
The Demon Lover by Juliet Dark

and
Her Loving Husband’s Curse by Meredith Allard
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13626096-her-loving-husband-s-curse?ac=1
I included the link to their GoodReads pages so you can investigate them before casting your vote if you’d like. Let me know in the comments which one I should read. Thank you so much for your help my book pals.

Oh yay, Shari! The vote thingiemabob is perfect. I know you wrestled long and hard to get it up so you have my many thanks.
I feel you, I’m thinking of a gimmick myself to motivate me to read more. I love MAllard but JDark ks a good choice too!
See! That’s my dilemma. They both sounded good to me too and I absolutely need some kind of kick in the pants to get busy on my pile.
I chose Her Loving ‘s Husbands Curse coz honestly that title spoke to me…it sounds ominous. The cover ain’t bad either, lols
Oh yes, the cover totally has some atmosphere going for it. I knew I was reading in October. I’m not a horror fan so I went with a few notches down from that. Thanks for your vote, Sharonda!
Oh fun! I’ve seen a couple people do this lately and it’s such a great idea. They both look good. I’ve heard a lot of good about Allard’s books. I’m loving on that Demon Lover cover though.
I saw it at a Jane Austen blogger friend’s site a while back and then the other day I was nearly agonizing over choosing what book to read next that was non-review book and I thought the voting thing sounded like a fab plan.
It really is 🙂 Will be fun seeing what gets picked in the end. And so know how that is. Usually I have an idea where I’m going reading-wise but then sometimes it’s just like a brain freeze and can’t figure it out.
I will go for long periods of smoothly just picking up the next book and starting right in and then suddenly- brick wall. Nothing and everything sounds appealing.
