Each month, I will post up a pair (or more) of books. I would like you to vote on a choice. Yes! You will have the job of telling me what to read from my pile each month. I welcome your vote no matter what reason you choose (frivolous, serious or otherwise) that particular book and do share your reason in the comments just because I’m nosy. I will of course share my thoughts on the book itself in my review post.
New Beginnings and First in Series is my theme for this month.
Candidate #1
When You Dare by Lori Foster
#1 Men Who Walk the Edge With Honor
Romantic Suspense
[spacer]Blurb:
The tougher they are, the harder they fall…
Professional mercenary Dare Macintosh lives by one hard and fast rule: business should never be personal. If a cause appeals to him and the price is right, he’ll take the mission he’s offered. But then the lovely Molly Alexander asks him to help her track down the men who’d had her kidnapped—and for the first time, Dare’s tempted to combine work with pleasure.
Fiercely independent, Molly vows to trust no one until she’s uncovered the truth. Could the enemy be her powerful, estranged father? The ex-fiancé who still holds a grudge? Or the not-so-shy fan of her bestselling novels? As the danger heats up around them, the only anchor Molly has is Dare himself. But what she feels for him just might be the most frightening thing of all…
Candidate #2
The Unsung Hero by Suzanne Brockmann
#1 Troubleshooters
Romantic Suspense
Blurb:
After a near-fatal head injury, navy SEAL lieutenant Tom Paoletti catches a terrifying glimpse of an international terrorist in his New England hometown. When he calls for help, the navy dismisses the danger as injury-induced imaginings. In a desperate, last-ditch effort to prevent disaster, Tom creates his own makeshift counterterrorist team, assembling his most loyal officers, two elderly war veterans, a couple of misfit teenagers, and Dr. Kelly Ashton-the sweet “girl next door” who has grown into a remarkable woman. The town’s infamous bad boy, Tom has always longed for Kelly. Now he has one final chance for happiness, one last chance to win her heart, and one desperate chance to save the day . . .

Oh no! I absolutely love both these authors, so I’m gonna say you need to read both please because I can’t choose just one!(lol)
Sorry, I made your brain hurt over such a choice, Ro. LOL I likely will read them both eventually. 🙂
I voted for When You Dare as I heard good things about that author. I have one of her books on my shelf, but haven’t read it yet.
This would be my first one by her, too. Shari loves her books and I’ve always meant to pick one up.
Both look good, but I vote for #1
It’s a tough pick. Thanks for voting, Carole. 🙂
My vote is for the first one.
Thanks for stopping by with your vote, Crystal. 🙂
