Who’s that Hero?
Happy Holidays, everyone! I’m so thrilled to be here on the Delighted Reader today. Thank you so much for having me. In honor of the season, I managed to put together a little treat for you all. These potential heroes are all vying for their time in the spotlight! In fact, I’ve already begun conniving various ways of torturing them (there is nothing I like more than making a man cry mercy…how about you? ;-). Anyway, I thought it might be fun to take a little poll here to see which one of the sexy bachelors you all would like to see next. So take a little peek at each of our potential hero’s description and cast your vote!
Bachelor Number One:
This potential hero has a thing for the good things in life. There is nothing better than a fast car, a hopping night club, and a night that ends with the warm press of bodies against his own. He’s the ultimate bad boy…which is not surprising, considering he was spawned in hell. He’s willing to defy his heritage and leave all that behind, though…for the right girl. Namely someone who can see past the sexy criminal he is, to the man he wants to be. So if you are willing to take on a man in need of more than a little redemption, don’t mind your sex scorching hot, and are not adverse to a little danger nipping at your heels (and let me tell you, those hellhounds daddy is going to send after him when he escapes have some sharp fangs!)…this hero may just be the one for you!
Motto: “If I can have it, and I want it, why shouldn’t I take it?”
Bachelor Number Two:
This potential hero doesn’t have much time for dating. As a narcotics cop he’s devoted his entire life to hunting down the type of scum who feed off the scared and helpless. With some of the chances he takes, his fellow cops all think he’s a little crazy, but he knows the truth: He’s the biggest bad of them all. For deep within is a beast just waiting to get out. It hungers…and has been denied for so long. So if you think you have what it takes to tame this man’s inner beast, step right up and give him a chance. Just be forewarned that if his beast decides you’re his, there is no changing your mind…
Motto: “You really don’t want to make me mad.”
Bachelor Number Three:
This potential hero is definitely not a sun worshiper. Not only is the night when his prey come out, but the darkness and shadows have become his sanctuary. Always the one to find the deepest shadow in a dim room, this hero gives new definition to the word brooding. But don’t let his closed off demeanor fool you. Under those dark looks, massive muscles, and burn scars is the man he used to be: fun, loyal, and passionate. So take a chance and see if you can’t be the woman to see past the scars of his past and make this man come dance once more in the light!
Motto: “If it has a heart, and you can reach it with your knife, you can kill it.”
[spacer]Don’t forget to cast your vote and, for the fun of it, try and take a stab at naming who these potential heroes are (they’ve appeared at least once in books one, two, and three of the Paladin Warriors)! I can’t wait to see everyone’s guesses!
Happy Holidays and Happy Reading!
Best,
Tes Hilaire
PRINCE OF SHADOWS BY TES HILAIRE – IN STORES DECEMBER 2013
It’s Forbidden for a Warrior of the Light to Love a Creature of the Dark…
Valin has never quite fit in with the rest of the Paladin warriors. His power to manipulate shadow has always put him at odds with their purpose of using heavenly Light to eradicate evil. His warrior brothers have no idea how close he is to being lost to his dark nature.
But Maybe He Was Never All That Light to Begin With…
When Valin meets the vampire Gabriella, she awakens within him something he thought long buried. But as he watched Gabriella’s need for vengeance to drag her down into the same dark hell that he’s living, he knows his only chance at redemption is bringing her out of the dark…
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Daphne Award-winning author and former Tennessee native Tes Hilaire doesn’t remember how old she was when she wrote her first story, but she’s pretty sure it had something to do with a boy and a girl and a happily ever after. Displaced at an early age to “the north country,” her stories turned darker as she started creating whole new worlds to escape the harsh, upstate NY winters. Now back in the South, her stories remain edgy, exciting, and bring a hint of dark fantasy to paranormal romance. Best of all, no one ever has to shovel snow. I want them all Tes. I want. Them. All. lol
I can’t decide! Can we somehow merge them all together?! I think #3 will be my pick. 🙂
oh goodness… that’s rough. I like something in all of them – but I must feed my teenaged girl and go for # 1 – the Bad Boy.
Sad but true……
Yeah, I agree with the other ladies. It is too hard to choose. I love them all!
I’ve got to go with #3. First, he’s a night lover like me. Second, his motto rocks. Third, scars? What scars? Who doesn’t have scars? Even the best of us has scars that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
Thank you for the chance, I’m going to be greedy and choose them all…LOL, but If I can really only have one, I’m leaning towards bachelor number 3.
Thanks!
Thanks for the fun giveaway. I vote Bachelor #1! Then #3
Those are tough choices! They all appeal to some part of me! I’ll have to go with #1 though.
Hmm, I demand a test date for each of them! I am torn between one and three..LOL This was fun, thanks for the giveaway 🙂
Hi all! Thanks for casting your votes. Looks like we have a lot of ladies who are drawn to the brooding hero or the bad boy. I have to admit, I’m a bit of a bad boy lover myself… at least in my romance novels! What does this say about us, ladies…
Bachelor #2 seems to be getting little love, so I’ll have him all to myself!!
#3 all the way. Although #1 and #2 sound hot, there’s something about brooding that gets me. 😉
